Why are you low on omega-3?
Most people's diets are far too low in omega-3 fatty acids, because:
We eat too much processed food and omega-6 fats. An excess of vegetable fats crowds out the good omega-3 fats from the body.
We rarely eat fish and seafood. We eat too little oily, wild-caught fish – and these are the best natural source of omega-3.
Unconscious food choices. We often choose plant-based products and eat too much meat instead of balancing our diet with omega-3 fats.
Stress and an intense lifestyle. These reduce the body's ability to use available fats and intensify inflammatory processes.
