Beta-sitosterol is a compound from the phytosterol group. It supports the regeneration of the prostate gland epithelium, increases the secretory capacity of the prostate and reduces its swelling, making urination easier for men struggling with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Beta-sitosterol can also lower the level of DHT (dihydrotestosterone), which stimulates prostate growth, and is therefore used in prostate prevention and treatment support.
